It has been recognized that the interaction between superplasticizer and C3A is essential for controlling the rheological properties of Portland cement mortar and concrete. In order to supplement the interaction between C3A, Portland cement and polynaphthalene sulfonate superplasticizer in the presence of calcium sulfate, the rheological behavior of specific cement system was studied. among them, only calcium aluminate or calcium sulphoaluminate hydrated phase can be formed.
Experimental materials
The kaolin used in this study is industrial kaolin containing 85% kaolinite and 15% quartz. The lime used is high purity laboratory lime, and anhydrite is an industrial by-product containing 97.5% anhydrite. The superplasticizer used is high quality sodium polynaphthalene sulfonate. Before adding water, first mix the dry powder thoroughly in a dry form. The slurry samples were taken out from time to time for X-ray diffraction and thermal analysis.
